Sunday 22nd November –
Christ the King

Additional Collect

God the Father,
help us to hear the call of Christ the King
and to follow in his service,
whose kingdom has no end;
for he reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, one glory, Amen

Holy Habits –  Fellowship

Club together with a few friends send a bunch of flowers to the staff of your local school, nursing home or other agency that is working with vulnerable and those in need.  Ask God to open our eyes to the needs of our community and the vision to meet those needs. Share your thoughts with others.

Sunday Services

Following the government announcement about a second national lockdown, sadly we will no longer be able to offer public worship, baptisms or weddings from 5th November, until the end of the lockdown period, hopefully in December.

All of our worship will be online, available each Sunday on the website, our facebook group and YouTube. For more details please see our Coronavirus update page.

Then we read the second passage followed by silence and ending with Compline or our own prayers. Different members choose the readings each week. Thursday 26th November Psalm 148 vs 1 – 13 and Romans 8 vs 35 – 39.

Please pray for

The sick, among them Claudia Tom, Rosalind Smith & Jane Windeler and all affected by the coronavirus.

Pray for the NHS, care workers and all front line workers and volunteers. We pray for race equality and for all victims of race crime and brutality.

Remember all those who have died recently including Richard Vyvyan Robinson. We remember those whose anniversary of death occurs at this time including Margaret Meeks, Richard Hickox, Jessica Solley.

Taking it in turns to pray for each other – this week we pray for St Michael.
