The Third Sunday after Trinity

Additional Collect

God our saviour,
look on this wounded world
in pity and in power;
hold us fast to your promises of peace
won for us by your Son,
our Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen

Holy Habits – Making Disciples

Find a creative way to share church with someone this week. You could share a church service on social media, write a letter to a friend telling them about your experience of church recently, or tell someone about the Church of England’s free “Daily Hope” phone-in services (0800 804 80440).

Sunday Services

We are delighted to be able to offer public worship in all of our churches again.

For regular Sunday services, there will be no need to book in advance, although places are still limited.

Please follow all of the safety advice you are given when you attend, and do not come if you are ill. Everyone attending church services must wear a face mask, except for those legally exempt.

Until the end of June, online worship will continue to be available every Tuesday on the website, our Facebook group and YouTube. For more details please see our Coronavirus update page.Upcoming Services

Please pray for

The sick and all affected by the coronavirus.

Pray for the NHS, care workers and all front line workers and volunteers. We pray for race and gender equality and for all victims of race or gender crime and brutality. Pray for everyone on their own or unable to be with their family.

Remember all those who have died recently including Bob Knight and Yvonne Taylor. We remember those whose anniversary of death occurs at this time including Bruce Young, Philip McAuley and Alexander Weir.

Taking it in turns to pray for each other – this week we pray for St Michael.

Home Groups and Daily Prayer

Our Home Groups are meeting weekly via zoom and we are praying regularly, especially at 9am. If you would like to join a home group or daily prayer, please contact Revd Elizabeth (07758 407661 – elizabeth-wild@live.co.uk)

Julian meeting on Thursday 24th June

Held in St Endellion Church for those who can come and will also meets each in our own home at 7pm. We light a candle and read a passage from the Bible followed by silence. Then we read the second passage followed by silence and ending with Compline or our own prayers. The readings are: First Letter of John Ch. 1. 4 -end and:
Because of the great,
infinite love which God has for all humankind,
he makes no distinction in love between the blessed soul of Christ
and the lowliest of the souls that are to be saved . . . .
We should highly rejoice that God dwells in our soul
and still more highly should we rejoice that our soul dwells in God.
Our soul is made to be God’s dwelling place,
and the dwelling place of our soul
is God who was never made.
– Julian of Norwich

Bee Day Family Service

Sunday 27th June 11am at St Minver Church

Interactive service for all the family, celebrating and supporting the important work of our humble honey bees, with a blessing for bee keepers and flower arrangers.

To help us maintain good Covid security, please let Revd Elizabeth know if you intend to attend and if you will bee with us as a family, bee keeper or flower arranger. 07758 407661 elizabeth-wild@live.co.uk

Goods for St Petrocs

As it is not possible to have collection boxes in the churches at the moment this is a reminder that St. Minver Post Office is an alternative collecting point.
The best way to help the Bodmin branch of St Petrocs to buy fresh food is electronically.  Details for doing this have changed as Bodmin has a new House Manager, Gary Hales.
Put www.morrisonsgiftcards.com into Google and send your donation to gary.hales@stpetrocs.org.uk

ST ENDELLION & ST PETER’S CHURCH, PORT ISAAC FETE

Wednesday August 11th
On the assumption that Covid restrictions will be lifted, plans are now well underway and we will be appealing for donations to the various stalls.   So if, for example, you have anything suitable for the Tombola, please don’t get rid of it, but pass it our way!  Boxes will be at the back of both churches for all donations which will be gratefully received!

Also as the jam and chutney making season approaches, perhaps you could make an extra pot for the Produce Stall?    Thank you.
