Please pray for the sick, among them Claudia Tom, John Killingley, Iain Gordon, Val Meagor, Rosalind Smith, Valerie Davey, Anne Pethick, Tom Miller and Tony Dunkerley. Remember those who have died recently including Neville Cole, Freda Calvert and Molly Girvan. We remember those whose anniversary of death occurs at this time including Ceinwen Greenwood, Ken Buse and Wendy Turner.
Taking it in turns to pray for each other – this week we pray for St Peter’s.

Some Enchanted Evening A concert of musical theatre and operatic classics by some of the countries finest young singers, including winners of the Chris Treglown Foundation Award. St Minver Church, Saturday August 25th at 7.30pm. Tickets from St Minver Post office.

Endelienta Residencies Thursday 6 September, 6pm. Composer Jordan Hirst, film maker Lynn Denison and writer Olivia Lowry have been selected as this year’s resident artists, staying for a week at St Endellion with the opportunity to use the time in whichever way they wish to develop their work. During this informal presentation (free event) they will share their experiences and perhaps give a preview of their work in progress.

Viva la Musica – ‘I Praise the Tender Flower’ Saturday 8 September, 7.30pm. A concert of vocal music inspired by the beauty of nature, including works by Britten, Pearsall, Elgar and Debussy. Conductor – Simon Lumby. £8. Accompanied under 16s free. Tickets from
