Please pray for the sick, among them Claudia Tom, John Killingley, Iain Gordon, Val Meagor, Rosalind Smith, Valerie Davey, Anne Pethick, Tom Miller and Tony Dunkerley. Remember those who have died recently and we remember those whose anniversary of death occurs at this time including Derek Bishop.

Diary Dates & News

Tea & Toast cafe is on the move! From this Wednesday onwards we will be meeting in St Kew School Hall. 9am till 11am. This is a community cafe and outreach. Come along for breakfast, newspapers and great fellowship! Everyone welcome. See Geraldine or Marcus for more information.

Baka Beyond – 25th Anniversary tour Friday 2 November 7.30pm. The band uses the rhythms of the Baka people of the Cameroon rain forest to fuse their Celtic and African roots. A highly infectious and joyous celebration of music to dance to. £12. Predominantly standing event.Tickets from www.enedleinta.org.uk or 07787 944935.

Living by the Risks of Love Saturday 3 November, 6pm at St Minver Church. Members of the North Cornwall Cluster are presenting a special service for all the churches ‘Living by the Risks of Love’ is a worship-liturgy based on a well-known play by Shakespeare – The Merchant of Venice.

Remembering a Loved One Sunday 4th November 4pm St Endellion Church. A reflective service of readings, prayers and hymns followed by tea.

Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Shoebox Appeal. Please find an empty shoebox and fill it with gifts suitable for a boy or girl. Very useful ideas may be found online at samaritans-purse.org.uk. Leaflets about this scheme are also at St Minver church where boxes need to be left by the 10th November.

Advance notice for Jazz enthusiasts: a Jazz Evensong is planned at St Mabyn at 4pm on November 18th.
